Exceptionally lucky with the weather we had a sunny afternoon in the gardens of Woldingham School for our BBQ charity car show. Trevor Longley, our events coordinator, managed to get over 100 of his clients and friends to this event and with their continued generosity were able to raise £5,100.00 for Age Concern, Banstead. An independently run community centre, the money raised was just over 50% of what they would normally have to raise annually to fund programmes they run for the community in Banstead. We had a delicious BBQ, live music and singers and dancing! We also had a return visit from Rufus, the hawk, and his trainer Wayne that afternoon but Rufus did prove reluctant to do some of the flying tricks but settled down to allow our guests to have photos with him. We were also introduced to a beautiful white and black striped Falcon. We are so pleased with the generosity of the people who attended this event.
