and protecting your personal information. The Regulation requires that the Section identify its legal base for processing of personal data. We believe that the holding and processing of data about members is necessary for the legitimate interests of the Section.  The data we hold are the names of members, partners if given to us, addresses, telephone numbers and email address.  This data is only used for postal and email correspondence; they are retained until the event has taken place and then deleted.  Web contacts are not retained at all.  Personal data are not available to any person other than the Membership Secretary and Treasurer, nor to any outside person or organisation.  If any data breach or unauthorised disclosure takes place, members have a right to complain to the Information Commissioner, but we hope a member would take up any issues with a member of the Committee first.  If you do not wish to receive emails and/or our quarterly Newsletter please contact the membership secretary.

Covid Regulations & Risk Assessments

Guidance from the government and from Hunt House requires that we comply with restrictions due to covid.  All of our events will have had a risk assessment. We are told "the virus has not gone away."  All future events will continue to be evaluated and assessed to be covid secure venues and events.  We will continue to remind our members to comply with the rules as they apply on the day.  Even though we have come out of lockdown and many restrictions lifted we are reminded there is still a serious risk of catching Covid 19 and/or many of its varients.  So it is still vital to remember to wash our hands, wear a mask and keep our space.
