Return visit to Denbies Winery - 7th of June 2020

Denbies Wine Estate
London Road
Dorking, Surrey

 Sunday 7th June 2020
Trevor Longley along with his wife Susan have arranged a special event to our local award winning Wine Estate. We last visited this lovely venue in 2013 and members have frequently requested a return visit. Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking is England’s largest vineyard set in 265 acres of vines and we have arranged the following:-

Members to arrive at 11am - 11.30am latest

We will then go on an Outdoor Vineyard Train Tour of the Wine Estate at 12.00 clock (The train won’t wait so don’t be late please) On this trip we will be driven at a leisurely pace to some of the most beautiful viewing points in the vineyard with magnificent panoramic views across the North Downs, so don’t forget your cameras. Our tour guide will fill us with fascinating historical facts along the way.

At 1pm we will then attend the Indoor Classic Wine Tour where we will see a short film and learn how the vineyard began and grow into the award winning vineyard it is today. The film will be followed by a tour of the working Winery and then into the Wine Cellar for the wine tasting.

At 2.30pm we will then go up to the Gallery Restaurant with its spectacular views of the estate where we will be having a three course Sunday Lunch.  There is a fully stocked shop which you will have time to visit as well. We cannot recommend this event highly enough.

The cost for both tours and 3 course Sunday lunch is £46 per head.
If you would like to join us please send your application form to our events co ordinator .
