LONDON TO BRIGHTON VETERAN CAR RUN WITH LUNCH SUNDAY 3RD NOVEMBER 2019
The Surrey Section have kindly been invited by Central Southern Section to join them for viewing of the London-Brighton Veteran Car Run and lunch at the Oak Barn, Burgess Hill, RH15 8RE with reserved parking, starting at 9.30 a.m., so bring your Club Car and enjoy the morning meet and meeting up with your fellow Club members.
The two-course pre-booked lunch will be served around 12.45 p.m. Please enter your choices on the separate booking form and send with your cheque (payable to RREC) for £26.50 per person by 27th October 2019 to Ted Meachem, Central Southern Secretary (01403 731451).
Your choices are:
Roast Sirloin of Beef. A 28 day-aged sirloin served with a Yorkshire pudding & rich gravy.
Roast Loin of Pork served with a Yorkshire pudding, crackling, sage & onion stuffing and rich gravy.
Half Roast Chicken served with Yorkshire pudding, sage & onion stuffing and rich gravy.
Chestnut Mushroom & Butternut Squash Nut Loaf (v) served with a Yorkshire pudding and rich gravy.
All main courses are served with rosemary roast potatoes, honey roasted parsnips & carrots. Dishes of cauliflower cheese & seasonal market vegetables.
Lemon cheesecake with lemon curd & meringue.
Toffee apple crumble with toffee sauce & vanilla ice cream.
Sticky toffee pudding made with dates, served with malt toffee sauce & vanilla ice cream.
