Taking Hospice Children for a Ride in Our Cars - Sunday 15th July, 2018

Hospice Children for a Ride in Our Cars – Yet More Cars Wanted!!

So Far, we have 11 Members committed plus a 17-seat minibus compliments of Roy Dawson.

Can you please help us and the children from Shooting Star Chase Children’s Hospice?

We are Looking for Members that would like to help and have classic cars and luxury cars with seat belts to help us give these poor children a day to remember. We now have 11 persons committed to help and a 17 seater mini bus with wheel chair access and other volunteers to pick up wheel chairs.

But We Would Like More!

We urgently require volunteers to pick up the children from Christopher’s hospice in Guildford and Shooting Star house in Hampton and take them to Medicine Gardens in Cobham.  We have arranged for afternoon tea for the children and hopefully an Entertainer.

What an experience it would be for these children and their families to be taken out in our cars!!

The date is Sunday 15th July, 2018

You Must have seat belts in your cars to take the children and their parents or carers
.

For those of you don’t have seat belts you are more than welcome to join us at Medicine Gardens so the children can at least see your lovely cars and sit in them.

Pleas please help us make memories for these special children.

Can you please confirm asap by email me personally or phone me, Trevor Longley.

I must confirm by mid-May how many helpers we have to let The hospice know so they can arrange times and parents and children know.

I will personally give each one of you a ring to sort out final details.

If enough time afterwards we shall meet up for a pub lunch.

Thanks so much in advance
